Infectious Diseases / HIV Medicine Integrated Curriculum
Training Purpose and Methods
Educational Purpose: The purpose of the clinical experience component of the Program is to thoroughly familiarize the subspecialty Fellow in contemporary approaches to the prevention and management of infectious diseases, both in concept and practice.
Teaching Methods: Several approaches are used to position the Fellow in a learning environment that maximizes the opportunity to achieve the Educational Purpose described above. Among these are included experiences designed to develop conceptual understanding, as well as practical skill.
