Since 1951, Harbor-UCLA Medical Center has enjoyed a strong affiliation with the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. Our campus is one of the key program sites for the overall UCLA CTSI, with approximately 300 full-time Faculty all having appointments through the David Geffen School of Medicine.

Harbor-UCLA Medical Center is one of just five Level I Trauma Centers in Los Angeles County, and the only such Center in the South Bay. The campus is a focal point for healthcare services with over 700,000 residents in the greater South Bay catchment area. For nearly seventy years, the hospital has provided high-quality healthcare to patients regardless of ability to pay.
